Hurricane Milton Tornado

  • A tornado ripped through the Bethel Creek neighborhood ahead of Hurricane Milton, causing significant damage to buildings, trees, and power lines. The extended power outage caused us to lose all the kosher food stored in Chabad's freezers, and with power still out and no clear timeline for restoration, we’ve had to secure generators to prevent further losses.

The property has also been blocked by fallen trees, fences, and parts of roofs blown in from hundreds of feet away. The cost of clearing debris, replacing lost food, and keeping our operations running is mounting quickly, reaching into the thousands.

We need your help to cover these unexpected expenses. Your support is critical in helping us recover and continue serving our community. Every contribution makes a real difference - thank you for standing with us during this challenging time.
